A key achievement is Dhara Nidhi’s collaboration with HiMedia, a pioneering Indian bioscience organization acclaimed as the ‘Pride of India’ by experts. HiMedia is notable for being the first Indian-origin company founded by an Indian scientist to manufacture microbiology media based on proprietary, in-house R&D technology—marking a major milestone in indigenous scientific manufacturing.
One of the standout innovations supported through this collaboration is BHU-Vision—a revolutionary, AI and IoT-enabled Rapid Automated Soil Analysis Apparatus. Developed jointly by Krishitantra and the Indian Institute of Rice Research (ICAR–IIRR), and validated by 12 leading scientists from various ICAR institutions, BHU-Vision represents a leap forward in precision agriculture. Licensed and manufactured by HiMedia, the device analyzes 17 soil parameters with 95% accuracy, producing comprehensive reports in just 40 minutes. With over 1,000 active devices deployed across India, BHU-Vision enables real-time, location-specific fertilizer and crop recommendations, helping farmers increase productivity, reduce input costs, and adopt more sustainable farming practices.
